Health and Wellbeing Alliance

Identifying new ways of working to improving health and wellbeing across Wales.

The Welsh NHS Confederation believes that health is not a standalone issue and we all need to play our part in developing a health service that is fit for the future. We regularly work with colleagues across organisations, both within and outside of the health sector, in order to build strong working relationships and learn from each other to identify new ways of working.

The Welsh NHS Confederation Health and Wellbeing Alliance, consisting of over 60 health and care organisations from Royal Colleges, third sector organisations and social care organisations, was established in 2015 to discuss key priorities and policy areas.

The (previously known) Policy Forum developed recommendations and consistent messages in the run-up to the 2016 National Assembly Election and the 2021 Welsh Parliament/ Senedd Cymru Election.
