NICON25 | 15 - 16 October 2025: Registration has now closed - thanks to everyone who joined us in person or online at the conference!

  • Join over 600 Health and Social Care (HSC) leaders at NICON25 on Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 October 2025 at La Mon Hotel, Belfast, to explore how we can work collectively to stabilise, reform and deliver Health and Social Care for the future.

Following the publication in early July of the 'Health and Social Care NI Reset Plan', this year's conference, entitled 'Reset | Shaping Health and Social Care for the Future', will take place at a critical juncture as we seek to urgently take forward the priorities set out in the Reset plan and Minister Nesbitt's three-year strategic plan in the context of unprecedented financial pressures.

Over the course of a day and a half, we will consider the challenges and opportunities associated with implementing a system-wide HSC Reset, as we seek to deliver four strategic shifts: Moving from treatment to prevention, hospital to community, analogue to digital and people to partners. During the conference, you will be able to visit over 50 exhibitors and choose from more than 50 sessions on a wide range of topics central to Reset plans and implementing these shifts.

  • We have made the mainstage presentations given at NICON24 available for download:

    Mainstage slides - Day one

(There were no multi-slide presentations given on the mainstage during day two)

If you would like to access slides from a specific fringe or parallel session, please email robyn.scott@niconfedhss.org.

  • At conference, we launched a new report, 'People to Partners', which summarises discussions during a recent roundtable exploring the development of a unique approach to building a new relationship with the public in Northern Ireland. Developed in partnership with the Patient Client Council (PCC), this report explores the collaborative advantage of a new relationship with the public in delivering public sector goals in Northern Ireland. The report is available for download.

  • A recording of the mainstage livestream of NICON25 will be available to watch shortly. In the meantime, conference photos can be shared upon request. Please email robyn.scott@niconfedhss.org.

  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD) allows you to keep your mind active as you up-skill or re-skill at various events, conferences or workshops throughout your career.

Applying for a CPD certificate is simple: For every hour you attend NICON25, you earn one point towards your continued professional development. 1 hour = 1 point, therefore if you weren’t able to attend the whole conference, you can calculate how many points you have earned.

Please complete this form to request a CPD certificate. The deadline is Friday 31 October 2025. Once completed, the team at CPD should process the request within 28 days. If you have not received your certificate by Friday 12 December 2025, please contact marketing@nhsconfed.org, and we will look into this on your behalf.
