NICON25: Reset | Shaping Health and Social Care for the Future
Speakers

The Northern Ireland Confederation's annual Conference & Exhibition offers a unique opportunity for colleagues and partners from across the health and care system to come together, share ideas and optimism, reflect, network and learn.
Join over 600 Health and Social Care (HSC) leaders at NICON25 on Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 October 2025 at La Mon Hotel, Belfast, to discuss how we can work collectively to stabilise, reform and deliver Health and Social Care for the future.
Following the publication in early July of the 'Health and Social Care NI Reset Plan', this year's conference, entitled 'Reset | Shaping Health and Social Care for the Future', will take place at a critical juncture as we take forward the policy priorities set out in the Reset plan and Minister Nesbitt's three-year strategic plan.
Over the course of a day and a half, we will consider the opportunities and challenges associated with delivering a system-wide HSC Reset. During the conference, you will be able to choose from more than 50 sessions on a range of topics central to Reset plans, including: prevention; embedding neighbourhood health into our operating model; embracing a new relationship with patients as partners; strengthening primary care; clinical leadership; quality improvement; social care; mental health; workforce planning; patient safety and culture; new ways of working, including cross-Departmental collaboration and Provider Collaboratives; productivity; maximising digital opportunities and enabling innovation and much more.
By attending NICON25 you can to expect to:
- Gain a detailed understanding of the vision and plans to stabilise, reform and deliver Health and Social Care for the future
- Discuss and learn about new and upcoming strategies across the HSC system and hear progress updates on existing programmes
- Hear from a range of visiting experts and practitioners
- Be inspired by local leaders and partners who are continuously delivering innovative change, despite significant day-to-day pressures
- Join a range of topical debates and conversations as we seek to mobilise and shape the way forward.
A special thanks to our headline sponsors ABPI, AWS, and BT, as well as our wider stakeholders who contribute to the agenda and make our system conference possible.
