What is the health system’s role in reducing economic inactivity?
Speakers

We’re delighted to be launching a programme of regular work and health peer learning sessions in partnership with NHS England.
The first session will be an introduction to the series, which overall should help us to collectively answer the question: What is the health system’s role in reducing economic inactivity?
These sessions are designed to:
- Help you navigate the evolving work and health landscape
- Provide a space for shared learning across localities
- Inform and co-design long-term national strategy and policy development
Programme
Our work and health programme will last from September 2025 to March 2026.
We expect there to be up to seven webinars, with a mixture of topics.
Some of these will be focused on sharing learning between members working in ICBs, while others will be opened up to wider colleagues including those in local government.
Audience
While the programme is primarily intended for people working in ICBs who are leading work and health initiatives, if you work within another part of the system such as within an NHS trust or in primary care and you would like to be part of the community, do feel free to sign-up.
