  • The Evolve Collaborative is a nationwide collaborative of healthcare leaders dedicated to improving patient outcomes and taking control of their organisation’s data.

Joining Evolve allows you take control of the data you want to see when you want to see it.

You will have continuous access to timely data including predictive analytics - from your own organisation, from other collaborative members and national datasets - shaped around your priorities, enabling you to benchmark against peers and take actionable insights.

Use our learning communities to collaborate with peers locally and across the country on insights and solutions.

  • The Evolve Collaborative will support you to provide high-quality care, with less bed days and less agency spend due to our predictive analytics capabilities and timely data providing you with a forward view of your organisation.

Your membership will support you and your board to have effective conversations, create robust plans and make efficiencies with a forward view of your organisation.

The platform puts useable insights to drive improvement in the hands of your teams; your data is available at a glance for decision-making at any time or place.

It will enable leaders to enhance their planning and decision-making opportunities through access to comprehensive, timely data and analytics year-round.

Where variation exists, Evolve will convene peer-to-peer learning communities to understand the reasons why, share insight and best practice on how these might be narrowed. This will foster continuous quality improvement, operational efficiency and better health outcomes with insights that can be turned into action; as well as aiding your team’s professional development.

  • At launch, the Evolve Collaborative is available as a corporate membership for NHS trusts and foundation trusts delivering a wide range of acute services.

Access to the platform and our learning communities will benefit a range of staff in leadership roles, such as chief executives, chairs, non-executive directors, chief operating officers, chief medical officers and chief finance officers. The ability to put timely data and customisable dashboards in the hands of your teams will bring the benefits to, and empower, a much wider range of your trust’s staff.

  • The collaborative represents good value for money by giving you 24/7-365 access to Beamtree’s world-class analytics platform, featuring a broad range of performance metrics, and optimised over 30 years in Australia, as well as peer-to-peer support through learning communities from the NHS Confederation, the membership organisation that brings together and supports the whole healthcare system in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Membership of Evolve Collaborative is offered separately to membership of the NHS Confederation and costs £50,000 per hospital, with each additional hospital in a trust offered at the heavily reduced rate of £10,000.

    • Evolve’s data platform leverages advances AI/ machine learning and risk-adjusted modelling to forecast future trends for an individual trust on key metrics including high-impact adverse events while also providing retrospective data for performance assessment
    • A data pipeline that operates on HES, ECDS, SHMI and CDS data to provide benchmarking across the sector and the flexibility to leverage improvements in the individual trust datasets
    • Opportunities to provide input and direction for continuous improvement and additional datasets

Most importantly, Evolve empowers teams to make proactive, data-driven decisions that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

  • Our peer-to-peer learning communities are a place for you to share best practice and turn insight into plans of action.

We will form communities around areas of interest and members’ priorities to help you to solve the challenges you face. The learning communities aim to understand the ‘why,’ share best practices and turn insights into action. As a result, teams can enact clear, data-driven plans that:

    • Continue initiatives with strong evidence of impact
    • Refine initiatives showing moderate effectiveness
    • Discontinue efforts with negligible results

This will help you to move beyond top-down performance management to bottom-up, member-led improvements.

Examples of peer-to-peer learning communities include focussing on reducing the use of procedures of limited clinical effectiveness and reducing over medicalisation.

  • It’s our combination of a world-class analytics platform and peer-led learning communities.

We want to empower clinicians, boards and ops leaders with the data they need, and encourage them to be curious about who else is doing things differently. We want to give leaders rapid access to high quality data that will support them to make impactful improvement.

The platform arms you and your teams with timely information – available all-day, every day at a glance – which you can benchmark against your peers and collaborate on opportunities to optimise and innovate in your services.

High performing healthcare systems are ones that balance top-down guidance, with peer learning, and clear opportunities for bottom-up innovation. Our structured peer learning improvement programmes built around the problems our members want to solve.

We believe in safe spaces for our members to talk and learn from one another, away from assurance and performance management.

And our predictive analytics capability allow your teams to forward plan and stay ahead of the curve. Staff can improve efficiencies by using our platform’s predictive analytics capabilities to model the effects of interventions on specific patients.
