The NHS is awash with data, but short on insight that can be turned into actions. There is too much focus on looking back, reporting and assuring, and not enough on looking forwards, learning and improving.

The NHS has struggled to scale and share learnings, and where opportunities exist to identify and tackle variation between trusts. There has been too much taxpayer’s money spent on services that give a limited snapshot of performance, but no long-term insight.

Trusts are under pressure to drive up productivity, drive up standards, reduce variation and maximise value for the public’s investment.

A new way of working is vital.

The Evolve Collaborative democratises access to timely, modern data analytics in the NHS. 

We want to empower clinicians, boards and operations leaders with the data they need, and encourage them to be curious about who, why and how other trusts are doing things differently. We want to give leaders rapid access to high-quality data that provides a view on existing and emerging issues, to support them to make impactful improvements.

We want to support trusts to achieve the productivity and performance standards and efficiency targets the public expects, enabling them to reduce variation and realise in-year savings.

We believe that high-performing healthcare systems are ones that balance top-down guidance, with peer learning, and clear opportunities for bottom-up innovation.

We believe in structured peer-to-peer learning improvement programmes built around the problems our members want to solve, powered by state-of-the-art data analytics and predictive forecasting which can deliver you in-year savings and clinical improvement.

We believe in safe spaces for our members to talk and learn from one another, away from assurance and performance management.
