NHS Work and Health Network
This is the third session of our Work and Health Network, being delivered in partnership with NHS England, DHSC and the Department for Work and Pensions.
The purpose of the network is to help us collectively explore the question: What is the health system’s role in reducing economic inactivity?
These sessions are designed to:
- Help you integrate work, health and skills services
- Provide a space for learning from others about what works
- Inform and co-design work, health and skills policy with NHS leaders and national government
Programme
Our work and health network is designed to support the 10 Year Health Plan recommendation to establish outcome targets aimed at reducing economic inactivity in every ICB.
The network will run until at least March 2026.
Future sessions will take place on:
- 16 December 2025, at 11:00-12:30
- 22 January 2026, at 11:00-12:30
- 24 March 2026, at 11:00-12:30
The sessions will be a mix of interactive workshops and presentations from thought leaders in this space.
Audience
While the programme is primarily intended for people working in ICBs who are leading work and health initiatives, the network is equally open to other people working in the wider work and health system, including NHS trusts, VCSEs, primary care and local government.
This event is not open to journalists but those wishing to find out more about the network can get in touch with our external affairs team.
