We're delighted to officially launch our Annual Conference and Exhibition which will take place at Cardiff City Hall on the 5 February 2020.
All organisations across the system are working to bring health and care services closer to our communities, focussing on early intervention and prevention.
The Welsh NHS Confederation’s Annual Conference and Exhibition is an opportunity to celebrate, motivate and galvanise the NHS and social care, stakeholders and the public towards a healthier Wales.
The Conference offers a unique opportunity for colleagues from all sectors of the health and care system to come together, share ideas, reflect, learn and network. It provides a programme of eminent speakers who will share their experiences and learning in a wide range of areas in the health and care community.
It’s been over eighteen months since the Welsh Government published ‘A Healthier Wales’ the long-term plan for health and social care and we are starting to see the system being transformed. This brings with it new but exciting challenges. The days where we treated people at the point they needed our care are changing, we are empowering people to take control of their own health, and we are supporting them to stay healthier and happier in their communities. It is vital that we do not lose the momentum we have started to build.
Our theme for 2020 will focus on how we can deliver an integrated health and social care system at pace and scale. The nations’ health is not just about health and care, it’s about a sustainable economy, effective public health interventions and working seamlessly across sectors, to ensure every individual’s health and care needs are met.
Keep an eye on this page for further announcements on key speakers and the programme for the day. Or subscribe to our Conference newsletter for all the latest. We look forward to seeing you there.
