Join NHS Employers for an international recruitment toolkit workshop and help to shape a brand new resource designed to support good practice international recruitment across the NHS.

Key aims of the day will be to:

  • inform you about our approach to developing the toolkit;
  • share results of our research so far into the sources of existing information and guidance
  • test ideas and collect your thought and feedback on priority areas and considerations for the new resource.

Background

The recently published NHS interim people plan highlights the critical importance of international recruitment, which is required in the short and medium term to increase workforce supply for the NHS. The plan commits to the production of a best practice toolkit, supporting employers with good practice and seeking to improve staff experience and ultimately retention. NHS Employers is leading this work alongside other national bodies.

Booking your place

It is important to us that we develop a resource that is fit for purpose, meets the needs of stakeholders and is supportive of the activity that organisations are planning or already undertaking locally. So, the invitation is open to stakeholders with a range of experience of international recruitment.
