Primary Care Network advisory group

The advisory group is a group of members who provide strategic oversight of the network, helping to shape the priorities and future direction of the network and ensuring that we can build a strong and effective national voice for primary care members. Some of the priorities will align to the overarching NHS Confederation priorities where they are a system-wide priority and others will be specific to primary care.

Aruna is a GP and medical advisor, and chair of our Primary Care Network.

Michael Smith

Chief Executive, Bolton GP Federation

Michael is vice-chair of our primary care network advisory group and has over 20 years’ experience in the NHS.

Dr Aamir Munir

Dr Aamir Munir ('Mooney') has worked as a GP for 21 years in Northumberland. He has a reputation of rolling up his sleeves and getting the job done.

Dr Charlotte Hart has been the clinical director for Shrewsbury Primary Care Network since July 2020.

Geraldine is currently managing director of Foundry Healthcare PCN in Lewes.

Dr Jane Kocen

Clinical Director, Bedford PCN

Jane Kocen qualified in 1988 and became a GP partner in 1993 in Neasden and is now clinical director at Bedford PCN.

Joe is co-clinical director of his PCN and has set up and chaired a collaboration of Oxford City PCNs.

Kerry joined Symphony Healthcare Services as chief operating officer in 2018 and then went on to be appointed managing director in 2019.
