A month after its publication, the NHS Confederation is running two webinars hosted by Matthew Taylor, chief executive, focused on the 10 Year Health Plan changes, what they mean for the sector and how to support implementation.

This first webinar will bring together a panel of experts involved in developing the plan and responsible for its implementation to focus on how the changes can be made in a way that empowers the health and care system.

The panel will cover topics relating to the new NHS operating model, such as the focus on earned autonomy, including the new foundation trust and integrated health organisation regime, the government’s robust success-failure regime including league tables and how to balance finances and quality, empowering primary care at-scale, and what capabilities providers and ICBs will need to deliver their new roles.

A second webinar will follow, with a focus on empowering the public.

This webinar has been funded through sponsorship by Boehringer Ingelheim Ltd. Boehringer Ingelheim Ltd has had no influence on the content of the programme.

Please note that there will be a combined write-up of both webinars hosted on the NHS Confederation website. This will also be shared with registered delegates who missed the webinars.
