The NHS Confederation is running two webinars hosted by chief executive Matthew Taylor, to explore the changes introduced in the 10 Year Health Plan, what they mean for the sector and how to support implementation.

The second webinar will feature a panel of experts who have been involved in developing the plan and are responsible for its implementation.

This session will focus on empowering the public. The panel will cover key topics including neighbourhood health, digital services and people’s access to their personal health data. They will also address issues surrounding patient voice, including the future of patient engagement functions, patient power payments as well as considering whether personal responsibility should play a role in improving population health and wellbeing.

This webinar has been funded through sponsorship by Boehringer Ingelheim Ltd. Boehringer Ingelheim Ltd has had no influence on the content of the programme.

Please note that there will be a combined write-up of both webinars hosted on the NHS Confederation website. This will also be shared with registered delegates who missed the webinars.

This session is being held under Chatham House rule. This means participants can use any relevant information during the session, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.
