Supporting Integration in Local Places: Introducing the inPLACE Shared Awareness Tool
The NHS Confederation Place Forum hosted a sharing best practice session focused on the London Borough’s ‘inPLACE’ Self Assessment tool. This tool supports places to assess and understand their level of integration, to recognise areas of excellence, and to develop a plan of action for addressing challenges and gaps.
Speakers at the event included those who developed the tool and representatives from places that have used the tool to assess their level of integration. Together they explored how the tool can be used, including its benefits for senior leaders working at place level, and answered questions on applying the tool in your place.
The session was interactive, with speakers responding to the group on how the tool could help them to manage specific issues.
