Carrying out improvement with colleagues across boundaries/the interface can be challenging and complex for many reasons but it is integral to the future of healthcare.

This webinar will feature learning from three teams who took part in the primary and secondary care collaborative programme last year, providing an update on where they are up to, and lessons learnt on collaborative working.

Key areas covered:

  • What are the challenges to collaborative improvement across the interface and what can be done to overcome them?
  • How can improvement programmes/collaboratives be re-designed to value culture and relationships more?
  • What have healthcare leaders learnt when trying to carry out improvement with colleagues across the interface – what works well, what is difficult?
  • Learn from the evaluation findings that cover a range of recommendations needed to strengthen interface improvement (the recommendations are applicable to all sectors in healthcare)

We will also hear from experts beyond healthcare, providing unique perspectives on collaboration, leadership and change management. To this end, we are also in the process of securing “Dark Matters Laboratories” which is an international multidisciplinary organisation focused on reimaging and redesigning systems that underpin societies.
