Listen back to explore the strategic role digital should play in managing and treating poor mental health; and how system leaders can implement safe and effective digital solutions to manage mental health need in primary care and the community.

In November 2020, we held a joint webinar with NHS Clinical Commissioners on the role of digital in preventing and treating poor mental health in primary care and the community – with a focus on managing insomnia.

Against the backdrop of a global pandemic and increasing levels of poor mental health, this webinar explores the challenge this presents to primary care and the community, where the majority of need is seen.

Our expert panel also discussed what strategic role digital should play in managing and treating poor mental health, how system leaders can implement safe & effective digital solutions to manage mental health need in primary care and the community, and presented case studies that commissioners can use as blueprints for the successful implementation of digital solutions.

Speakers included:

Chair: Dr Phil Moore, Chair Mental Health Commissioners Network

Dr Tim Cooper, GP and Mental Health Lead for NHS North Hampshire CCG

Matt Williams, Digital Health Engagement Manager at the Oxford AHSN

Dr Charlotte Lee, UK Director at Big Health
