    We support and represent the service by; 

  • acting as a first point of contact for HR issues on an all Wales basis for the Welsh Government, the media, and other external agencies, including trade unions;
  • co-ordinating and representing the interests of NHS employers and continually reinforcing the position of the workforce at the heart of patient care and as an agent for change;
  • collating and conveying the opinions of Welsh NHS Employers in UK discussions on pay and terms and conditions and reporting back on emerging policy;
  • acting as the voice of the NHS employers in Wales and representing their views on all workforce and HR issues relating to the service;
  • project managing complex negotiations relating to All Wales workforce policies and practice;
  • providing secretariat for the Directors of Workforce and OD and Assistant Directors.

  • bod yn llais dros gyflogwyr y GIG yng Nghymru a chynrychioli eu safbwyntiau ar faterion y gweithlu ac adnoddau dynol sy’n ymwneud â’r gwasanaeth;
  • bod yn rheolwr prosiect ar drafodaethau cymhleth sy’n ymwneud â pholisïau ac arferion y gweithlu drwy Gymru gyfan;
  • darparu ysgrifenyddiaeth ar gyfer Cyfarwyddwyr y Gweithlu a Datblygu Sefydliadol a Chyfarwyddwyr Cynorthwyol.
