Matthew Taylor NHS Confederation
NHS Confederation and NHS Providers are supporting ICS leaders to achieve their four strategic purposes of integrated care:
- Improving population health and healthcare
- Tackling unequal outcomes and access
- Enhancing productivity and value for money
- Helping the NHS to support broader social and economic development
Digital transformation is a fundamental enabler in achieving these aims. Leaders of integrated care boards (ICBs) must therefore have an understanding of how to harness new digital opportunities.
NHS Confederation and NHS Providers, in partnership with Public Digital are launching a new programme aimed at building board level understanding of the potential and implications of the digital agenda at system level and increasing the confidence and capability of boards to harness the opportunities it provides. This work is being supported by Health Education England and NHS England.
Join Matthew Taylor, chief executive at NHS Confederation and Saffron Cordery, interim chief executive at NHS Providers as they provide a strategic overview for ICBs and explore the digital opportunities and challenges facing ICS leaders.
