From 1 October 2025, as part of the 2025/26 GP contract changes, all practices will be required to have online consultation tools switched on throughout core hours. To support this, we’ve been running a joint webinar series with NHS England showcasing best practice, case studies, and guidance from localities who have successfully implemented and use online consultation tools.

In this final session, Chris Nortcliff (GP at Cornbrook Medical Practice, CCIO and Digital Lead at the Greater Manchester Primary Care Provider Board), Jake Cooke (Chief of Strategy and Partnerships at LLR Patient Locally), Jennie Caukwell (Business Partner at Castle Medical Group), and Rosalind Tandy (Deputy Lead GP at Unity Healthcare) joined us to share practical insights on implementing online consultation tools.

The session took place on Microsoft Teams and was recorded for sharing within our app for Primary Care Network members as well as the PCNs and Practices Support Hub workspace on Futures.
