This webinar is an opportunity to hear from the Future Generations Commissioner for Wales, Sophie Howe, on the recently published “The Future Generations Report 2020”.

The Commissioner will discuss the relevant aspects for health and care within the report and her assessment of the progress made in implementing the Well-being of Future Generations Act.

The Commissioner will explore the findings and recommendations for Welsh Government, and provide her insight and views in relation to COVID-19 and post-COVID recovery, and what public sector bodies, including the NHS, could be doing to support the health and wellbeing of the population now and in the future.

The event intends to inform NHS leaders and health and care stakeholders of the key decisions required to reset our society and pave the way to a different future in Wales. There will be an opportunity to ask the Commissioner questions following her presentation.

During the event, you will also have the opportunity to ask questions of our speakers and engage in discussions with other delegates. Please send any questions ahead of the webinar to info@welshnhsconfed.org
