Clinical psychologists working in primary care

Gain insight into pilot projects where clinical psychologists work in primary care to support patients’ mental and physical health needs.

19 May 2021

Earlier this month, the Mental Health Commissioners Network, Mental Health Network, PCN Network, British Psychological Society and Centre for Mental health hosted a webinar on clinical psychologists working in primary care. It explored two evaluated pilot projects where clinical psychologists work in primary care to support patients’ mental and physical health needs.

The recording of this webinar can be accessed below, alongside an animation explaining what clinical psychologists do and further information about the projects, as well as a video from a person with lived experience, who has used one of the services. The projects in the recording have been evaluated by the Centre for Mental Health.
