The NHS Confederation supports the NHS to:

  • share and benefit from international knowledge and good practice.
  • develop, understand and access international opportunities.
  • represent NHS interests in Brexit and in relevant EU policy and legislation.
  • represent NHS expertise and interests in the UK’s international strategy and policy.

The NHS Confederation’s international programme is led by Dr Layla McCay, director of international relations, and includes the NHS European Office in Brussels. Please direct any enquiries or suggestions to international@nhsconfed.org. And remember to follow us both on Twitter: @LaylaMcCay and @NHSConfed_EU.

Remember to sign-up to receive our International Insights newsletter, which keeps you up to date on the latest pan-European and international healthcare developments, provides information on international funding opportunities and showcases international best practice, and will help you understand how EU policy impacts on the NHS .
