Progress towards implementing a healthier Wales
This briefing sets out some of the progress which has been made towards delivering the Welsh Government’s long-term plan for health and social care, A Healthier Wales.
NHS organisations in Wales welcomed the publication of A Healthier Wales in June 2018 and are supportive of the vision for a health and care system that is focused on wellbeing and preventing illness. We must acknowledge however that delivering this vision is a whole-system challenge, one the NHS cannot achieve in isolation.
