Your membership

We encourage you to connect with hundreds of other healthcare organisations who are members of the NHS Confederation and who are working together to improve care and services for local communities.

Membership of the NHS Confederation is primarily by organisation. Our members cover the full range of organisations that plan, commission and provide NHS services in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

All organisations that provide NHS-funded services, including statutory NHS and voluntary and independent sector providers, are very welcome to join.

Individuals are also able to join some of our leadership networks, including our Health and Care Women Leaders Network, BME Leadership Network and Health and Care LGBTQ+ Leaders Network.

Membership subscriptions are collected on an annual basis for services provided over the course of the financial year – April to March. Organisations interested in joining during the financial year can do so on a pro-rata basis. Membership renewal packs are sent to members in February and March each year.
