To celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Health and Care LGBTQ+ Leaders’ Network, we hosted a tweet chat on how we can support the LGBTQ+ population. The chat focused on creating visible leadership and confident staff.
Chaired by Peter Molyneux, chair of Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and co-chair of the Health and Care LGBTQ+ Leaders’ Network, the tweet chat:
- shared practical tips and guidance on raising the visibility of LGBTQ+ leaders
- explored what additional support and resources you need from the network to help you create visible leadership and confident staff
- shared good practice of what’s happening locally to deal with the distress, exclusion and conflict arising from patients and colleagues, relating to their sexual orientation and gender identity.
