Tendering of NHS community services during COVID-19

The Community Network, which is hosted by the NHS Confederation and NHS Providers, warns in a letter to the Secretaries of State for Health and Social Care and for Housing, Communities and Local Government that vital community health services risk being tangled in bureaucratic contracts and face serious cuts unless the government steps in.

It is calling for a pause to time-consuming retendering of local authority contracts during the COVID-19 emergency.
