Prior to joining the NHS Confederation, Fiona was head of stakeholder communications at London Ambulance Service, leading a team to work with senior stakeholders internally and externally.
Fiona spent ten years working at the Big Lottery Fund in a range of roles including leading the external relations team, heading up the South East team, supporting stakeholders and grant holders across South East England, and working to make European funding more accessible to the voluntary and community sector. Prior to joining the Big Lottery Fund, Fiona spent six months living in Belize, working with survivors and perpetrators of domestic violence and drafting legislative reforms that have now been enacted into law.
Fiona leads our work with ambulance services, organises our Chairs' group and is the NHS Confederation lead for the Community Network. She also leads our engagement work with members.
Fiona is a keen road cyclist, occasionally sings in a choir and spends a lot of time taking photos of her children and cat.
