Avni Shah

Avni has been the Hertfordshire and West Essex Director of Primary Care and Transformation since December 2020. 

She is a pharmacist by profession. She has a master’s degree in Public Health and has worked in the NHS across acute and community. 

Avni has over 10 years of experience in NHS commissioning, transformation and procurement across various programmes, initially in London before joining Herts Valleys Clinical Commissioning Group in 2013. She is passionate about working collaboratively with all stakeholders, with patients at the centre to co-design and transform services across organisation boundaries, in order to continuously improve outcomes for our population.
