With the extended access contracts moving into the Primary Care network Directed Enhanced Service (PCN DES) in 2022/23, lots of questions remain about how it can be implemented, especially in such a short timeframe and with limited PCN management capacity. In this session, we heard from those already delivering the service, describing some of the different service models that are working successfully. The session covered the clinical, the administrative and steps to take to help ensure the service is up and running in time.
