Shareen Pavaday

Deputy Director of EDI – Policy and Mandated Standards, NHS England

Shareen has over 20 years’ NHS experience, beginning as a therapeutic radiographer before moving into Cancer Services Manager roles, where she combined clinical insight with operational leadership. Since 2019 she has worked in corporate services, including Head of EDI, Chief of Staff and now Deputy Director for EDI Policy and Mandated Standards, leading WDES and WRES. 

She contributed to the Messenger Review and engages regularly with national partners and government.  As a trustee for Cancer Black Care she has lobbied for better services for underserved communities at the highest level, including attending an audience with HM King Charles at Buckingham Palace.
