Kathryn Grayling
Kathryn Grayling is an experienced NHS leader, coach and facilitator with a national reputation for leading large-scale change across complex systems. As deputy director of People in the North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board, she leads strategic work on culture, learning and improvement, with a focus on building a community approach for change. This community, known as Boost, now hosts over 21 thousand members and is the fastest growing improvement community focused on health and care in the country.
Nationally, Kathryn co-authored the NHS Staff Wellbeing Review and contributed to the NHS People Plan, bringing a deep understanding of workforce experience and evidence-informed change. She is passionate about creating the conditions where people and systems can thrive through uncertainty and is known for her clarity, warmth and ability to help others find confidence in complexity.
