
Kate Woolley
Following a successful housing career, Kate moved to the Audit Commission working particularly at board-level supporting good governance practices and developing national, regional and local value for money review programmes for health and local government. During this period she was commissioned by the State Audit Office in Hungary in support of their health and local government improvement agenda.
Kate then became an NHS Warwickshire executive director of performance and ACE and in 2001 set up her own consultancy company delivering complex NHS, local government and Ministry of Defence change agendas to optimise sustainable improvement outcomes
More recently, Kate led as Solihull’s head of COVID response during the pandemic and in March 2022 was then recruited to lead the development of the Birmingham and Solihull, system immunisations and vaccinations programme. Between November 2022 and March 2025 Kate was also and concurrently the ICB's director of primary care commissioning and performance.
