Ali Aslam
Ali is a healthcare leader with over 20 years of experience, having joined the service via the Graduate Management Training scheme in 2004. He has delivered large scale organisational change and improvement programmes, alongside leading Equality, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives at system, region, and national level.
Currently Deputy Director for EDI in Education and Training, Ali provides EDI expertise to the workforce cell as part of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic, examining the disproportionate impact of the virus on BME staff. Subsequently he was part of the Leadership Team that delivered the biggest public sector change programme in Western Europe, successfully merging three public sector organisations and releasing £500m of savings that were reinvested into NHS front line services. Ali is a qualified Executive Coach, OD practitioner and Action Learning Set facilitator and supports teams and individuals to navigate change.
