About the Tweet chat

On International Women’s Day we continued our work to raise awareness of barriers facing women in the workplace, scrutinise and challenge bias against women in the workplace, and recognise and celebrate the skills and talents of women and their impact across health and care.

With a focus on the theme for IWD 2022, #BreakTheBias, participant joined a Tweet chat from 7.30 – 8.30am using the hashtag #OurRight2BSafe. Guests Kate Jarman @KateBurkeNHS, the founder of @NHSProjectS, Simon Fleming aka @orthopodreg, Dr Andy Knox @drandyknox, Alice Sorby @AliceSorby1 and Paul Deemer @NHSE_Paul, discussed improving the personal safety of women working in the NHS and social care.
