Module 3

Files on shelf

Building on the success of the first two sold-out modules, the Local Growth Academy is now growing. The range of new issues to be covered will be of interest to universities, NHS organisations and local government colleagues, and reflect the nature of the changing local growth agenda.

Growth in all places

Faced with persistent and widening gaps of productivity and prosperity across England, the emerging Industrial Strategy faces hugely difficult challenges in designing new policies that focus more effectively on place. The forthcoming White Paper and its proposals for new forms of regional policy will be examined in detail in this session and in particular the emerging Shared Prosperity Fund, which is likely to replace existing EU funding. We will also discuss and identify opportunities for forming new investment relationships with businesses post-Brexit.
