Change is rarely easy. 'Reconfiguration' has become loaded with negative meaning, and changes are frequently viewed by the public as a threat, rather than positive and necessary reforms.

That's why we're helping to reframe the reconfiguration debate, to tackle the issues members told us inhibit change.

Coalition for change

We've joined forces with the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges and National Voices – national bodies representing the views of patients, clinicians and NHS managers – to examine the case for radical, far-reaching change across the health service, and how best to achieve it.
