How to influence local enterprise partnerships

02 / 10 / 2017

In England, local enterprise partnerships (LEPs) are business-led partnerships between local authorities and the private sector.

Every LEP is different in the way in which it operates and its particular priorities, meaning influencing LEPs can be a challenge. LEPs have direct links with many local employers and use this knowledge to determine where to provide support.

Making contact and building a relationship where you can share regional knowledge, and influence, will enable you to reflect the scale of your workforce and challenges. Use our five-point guide, informed by briefings given to NHS HR Directors across England, to help influence your local enterprise partnership.

The guide forms part of our programme of work to support NHS organisations to engage with local economic planning.
