NHS Confederation general election asks: A sustainable and fair solution to the social care crisis

19 / 05 / 2017

In the lead up to the general election, the NHS Confederation is calling on political parties to commit to ten key policy proposals. Taken together, the proposals will secure the sustainability of the health and social care sector and enable it to deliver transformation on the scale needed.

A sustainable and fair solution to the social care crisis explores three of the asks in detail. It considers how the next government should look to address the need for social care reform.

It follows on from A credible and clear approach to NHS funding , which puts forward the case for a better way to agree and deliver NHS funding.
