Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust: Co-producing mental health services with young people

14 / 06 / 2016

Young people have traditionally not been involved in the design of mental health services intended to support them. At Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, there has been a concerted effort to change that, with the aim of further improving the treatment and care for young people with mental health issues.

In 2011, Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust launched the MyMind project. It uses a website and social media to bring young people clear and accurate advice about mental health.
