Technology – and how well it is adopted - will be a key player in how the NHS evolves over the coming years. Central to success in this area is advancing interoperability – the ability of computer systems or software to exchange and make use of information.
We are doing some work to develop our support offer to members in this area – developing resources and representing your views to bodies such as NHS England/Improvement, NHSX and the Department of Health and Social Care as they develop future policy.
To support this work, we are asking all members to answer a few questions to help us understand your perceptions of how important interoperability is to your organisation, how advanced it is, the potential barriers to the efficient automation of data sharing and the relationship between interoperability and system working. The answers that you provide will form the basis of a report that we will publish later this year.
The survey should take between 5-10 minutes complete and will close at 10am on 26th August.
As a thank you to all who are able to participate we will share a high-level summary of results shortly after closing the survey.

All information provided through this survey will be held by the NHS Confederation. Your personal data will be processed for use in our policy work. The information collected will be processed via Qualtrics, on behalf of the NHS Confederation, but will not be shared with any other third parties.
