What we do

A distinct and influential voice for primary care.

We represent

We represent primary care networks (PCNs) to national stakeholders, including the government, NHS England and NHS Improvement, regulators, arm's-length bodies, system partners and organisations that represent patients and the public.

Through strategic policy, advocacy and media work, we ensure PCNs have a distinct and influential voice while also being represented in wider NHS Confederation work.

We connect

We connect PCNs with their peers and system partners. Through our regional forums, role and topic-specific meetings and conferences, we convene PCN clinical directors, managers and the wider PCN and primary care workforce with one another.

Using our member-only channels, we facilitate peer-led learning and support, promoting best practice across PCNs. We also connect members within their systems, using NHS Confederation networks and relationships to engage members with local government, system partners and regional teams.

We support

Through providing access to summaries, briefings, policy papers and webinars within an app, we support PCNs in reaching their objectives.

From workforce to digital and system-working through to regulation and finance, the PCN Network supports members to access information, guidance and case studies.
