Neyber

Neyber

Neyber is the UK’s no. 1 financial wellbeing provider dedicated to helping staff be better with their money, and have already partnered with more than 40 NHS Trusts and over 20 Councils to help staff become more financially knowledgeable, confident and resilient. We do this by providing staff with access to financial education resources, affordable salary-deducted debt consolidation and affordable borrowing, as well as a range of savings and investment products - all at no cost or risk to the Trust.

Why what we do is important:

Neyber take a research-led approach to improving financial wellbeing, and each year we carry out the largest financial wellbeing research project in the UK to better understand staff needs. Our most recent research report, the DNA of Financial Wellbeing 2018, asked over 10,000 staff and 580 employers how they feel about their finances and found the following:

  • The no. 1 concern for NHS staff is their finances – followed by physical health and later life planning.
  • 40% NHS staff say financial pressure has a negative impact on their job performance
  • 1 in 5 NHS staff have felt depressed due to money worries
  • Almost 2/3 of NHS staff are in debt - excluding mortgage and student loans

Our value to the NHS and your staff:

Workforce wellbeing and engagement is a key strategic pillar due to the overwhelming evidence that staff wellbeing has a direct impact on patient care, performance and finances.

As the cost-of-living continues to rise while salaries stagnate it’s no wonder 62% of NHS staff have experienced financial worries in the last year. Worries that do not disappear when they come to work each day.

It’s now more important than ever for employers to equip staff with the skills and resources to take control of their finances today and create a safety-net for the future.

Honestly, I’ve never felt more empowered and motivated to achieve my financial goals. The  Neyber team provided me with valuable saving tools and debt management information; now buying a house and being debt free no longer feels like mission impossible! Thank you!”  Jignna, Neyber member

Neyber’s multi-award-winning proposition is already supporting over 200,000 NHS staff on their personalised financial wellbeing journey. Our dedicated NHS Team is on hand to help you develop and implement a financial wellbeing strategy bespoke to the needs of your workforce.
