As part of our NHS Reset campaign, we are holding an engagement event for our members on the latest updates and developments of the national and local management of the Test and Trace service.
This NHS Confederation member event will be an opportunity for our members to hear directly from the national directors of the Test and Trace leads in the Department of Health and Social Care and the senior responsible officers leading the work on local outbreak management with local authorities. The event will be chaired by our director of membership and policy, Nick Ville.
This event will be of interest to our members as a robust test, track and trace service is essential and critical to the effective restoration of NHS services and winter planning. There will be opportunities to hear updates on the testing and contact tracing programme, local outbreak management arrangements and winter planning. There will be also be opportunities to give your feedback on local issues to the national directors of the service.
The event will cover:
- Local outbreak plans: with the sharing of examples of good practice
- The ‘Contain’ framework - which will be shared with local authority partners
- Winter pressures: planning for second surge
