Role: Programme Support Officer - Welsh NHS Confederation
Contract: Fixed Term until 31st March 2020
Base: Cardiff, Wales
Salary: £27,045
Hours: Full time


This post will provide effective administrative and programme support to the all Wales NHS Chief Executives National Improvement Programme coordinated by the Welsh NHS Confederation. You will be working as part of a team to help achieve strategic and business objectives of the programme through the NHS Wales Executive Peer Groups, such as Medical Directors and Planning Directors.  The role will involve working closely with internal NHS Wales’ stakeholders, supporting project deliverables, report writing, collation of research, and the coordination and administration of programme meetings.

Key areas of work will include the administration and clerical support for the programme including corresponding with stakeholders; planning and managing internal and external meetings; writing reports and acting as a point of contact for programme queries.  Responsible for enabling work to be delivered to agreed deadlines and highlighting to the Engagement Manager any challenges to delivering in a timely manner.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
