Sharing the learning from the vanguard programme

Vanguard animation 800 x 400
We're working with NHS Clinical Commissioners, NHS Providers and the Local Government Association to help spread the learning from the vanguard programme across the health and care sector.

Together, we aim to create greater understanding, involvement and ownership of the vanguard vision, showcasing new ways health and care economies can help establish a sustainable health service now and in the future.

Events

Vanguards site visits

Health and care leaders have the opportunity to see first-hand how vanguards are delivering new models of care and implementing innovative transformation programmes as part of an exciting series of vanguard site visits which kicks off later this month.

Led by those involved in leading and developing the vanguards, the visits will involve a tour of local services, allowing delegates to see change in action for themselves.

The one-day visits will take place on:

  • Tuesday 31 October, with North East Hampshire ‘Happy, Healthy, at home’ vanguard, including visits to specialist health and social care teams supporting individuals with complex health and care needs.
  •  Wednesday 15 November, with Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) which will include presentations from a number of local vanguards as well as a discussion with senior leaders from the STP.

Spaces are limited. To book your place please email Maria.Torounidou@nhsconfed.org

The programme includes:

  • A showcase of projects, lessons and outcomes from a range of vanguards
