Ten priorities for the next government

General election 2017 policy asks

On 2 May, we called on political parties to safeguard the nation's health and social care services by making ten firm manifesto commitments.

Taken together, we believe the policy proposals will enable the NHS and its partners to continue to deliver world-class care and services, now and in generations to come.

They are outlined in full in Priorities for the next government .

A credible and clear approach to NHS funding considers two of the asks in detail and puts forward the case for a better way to agree and deliver NHS funding.

Further detail on the remaining asks will be published over the coming weeks to inform the election debate.

During the election period, we will be working to ensure these issues are high up on the political agenda.
