The NHS is in the middle of the biggest healthcare investment programme in the world - in partnership with the private sector.

Health Services Research Network
A voice for the health services research community:

SDO Network
The SDO Network is a network of NHS organisations supporting research, evaluation and innovation. The Network enables managers to improve and develop the services they manage. It does this by facilitating their access and use of the latest health services research, leading to the delivery of world class health services.

Rural health forum
The rural health forum was launched in September 2004 as a sub-group of the national primary care trust chairs' forum with the aim to broaden engagement and invite a wider selection of people who have an interest in rural health issues.

NHS BME Leadership Forum
The national NHS Black and Minority Ethnic Leadership Forum was launched by the NHS Confederation and the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) in 2003. This forum drives the development of black and minority ethnic (BME) leadership and ensures a stronger voice for BME leaders and managers in the NHS.

Code of Conduct for NHS Managers
The Code of Conduct for NHS Managers was published in October 2002, as part of the response to the Kennedy Report. The Code sets out the core standards of conduct expected of NHS managers.

Healthcare Facilities Consortium
The Healthcare Facilities Consortium (HFC) is a specialist, not-for-profit company that provides software, information and management support services to professionals working in facilities, estates and related functions in the UK health sector and - increasingly - other business sectors too.

NHS Communications Network
The NHS Confederation Communications Network aims to provide a network for communications leads in NHS trusts. We provide an update on future publications and releases and give an overview of our media lines on topical issues as well as providing advice and support for communicators
