NHS England is publishing weekly sitrep data for a number of key indicators of NHS performance.

The data covers a number of items relating to ambulance and A&E performance, including numbers arriving at A&E departments by ambulance and delays in transfer of between 30 to 60 minutes and over 60 minutes. This means that we can track performance trends in the period since 20 November 2017 and identify particular spikes in pressure.

Over the course of the winter, the NHS Confederation will track this data. This briefing considers what the data tell us so far.

Download the latest analysis, looking into the data to 11 February 2018.
