The PCT Network is working with the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMS) to establish a PCT Finance Directors Reference Group (PCTFDRG)The group was set up to support PCT 's financial work programme and create a forum for discussion of issues of common concern.
The first meeting took place at the BMA House on 16th September chaired by Gill Scoular. The meeting included speakers to include David Stout, Director of PCT Network, Janet Perry, NHS Finance Controller Elaine Taylor-Whilde and Jim Waldron from the NHS Information Centre. The meeting was a success and the group have agreed to meet quarterly.
