Communications Conference 2018

Comms conference 2018

Kicking off a week of activity for Confed18 the communications conference provides an opportunity for communication professionals and practitioners in the NHS to hear about innovative and practical tools and techniques which can be applied locally to tackle everyday communications challenges.

Speakers will also talk about how organisations can be prepared in the event of modern day threats, including from cybercrime.

With the topical theme Future-proofing communications in the modern NHS, we'll be inviting experts from across the public and private sector to deliver plenary sessions, participate in panel discussions and lead masterclasses on topics including handling communications in a crisis, the power of a good campaign, and tackling GDPR in the 70th year of the NHS.

The conference is CPD accredited and will offer delegates a creative environment, practical and enjoyable learning and the opportunity to share best practice and network with like-minded individuals.

We are delighted to announce our host this year is Helen Reynolds, director of Social for the People, an organisation with a mission to help communicators be on the ball, strive to improve their skills and strengthen their ethics.
