MHN opens nominations process for new board members

Ballot box

The Mental Health Network (MHN) is currently seeking nominations to the position of NHS Chair representative on its board.

Representing a constituent group on the MHN board is an opportunity to shape the work of the Network and become involved in shaping mental health policy and practice on a national level.

Terms on the MHN board last three years and the board meets four times a year. The MHN constitution including a Code of Conduct for Board Members is available to download here.

We are asking members to share this opportunity with NHS Chairs. Nominees are welcome from any NHS Trust or Foundation Trust in MHN membership.

Download further information here and a nomination form here.

Nominees can submit their nomination form directly to by 12:00 Monday 7th August 2017.

Further information

If multiple representatives from across membership put themselves forward for the position, we will follow an election process and ballot information will be circulated to member organisations accordingly.

The new board member will be announced on Wednesday 13th September. They will join the MHN board for its 17th October meeting at the NHS Confederation offices in London.

If a further conversation would be helpful, please contact the Network at or call 020 7799 8708.
